Ahoo glue

Introduction

Ahoo glue is a specialist liquid adhesive for bonding polystyrene (expanded polystyrene foam) and cellulose products which, unlike solvent-based adhesives, does not melt, corrode or deform polystyrene. Besides polystyrene it is also suitable for other surfaces such as paper, card and cardboard, and by creating a uniform, strong bond it allows precise, clean bonding of small and delicate parts and, once dry, forms a durable, stain-free bond.

Applications

Suitable for school crafts, architectural and engineering model making, handicrafts, framing, party decorations and decor, and art projects by students

Directions for use

• The surfaces concerned must be dry, clean and free of dust and grease.
• Apply a suitable amount of glue as a thin, even layer on one of the surfaces. For larger surfaces, apply the glue as strips or dots in several areas of the surface.
• Place the two pieces together and hold them with gentle pressure for a few seconds (do not press the polystyrene too hard, to avoid creating dents).
• Leave the pieces without moving them until the initial set.
• To reach final strength, allow the glue to dry completely.
• After use, clean the nozzle and close the cap tightly.
