All-purpose polish

ALL PURPOSE POLISH
Water-based formulation; removes oxide layers, dullness and blackening from precious and industrial metals; can be used on painted surfaces, plastics such as car headlights, and resin structures
Introduction
The all-purpose polish is a water-based cream compound with very fine abrasives, designed for cleaning, finishing and restoring the shine of metal surfaces. The fineness and uniformity of the abrasive grain in this formulation are chosen so as not to leave secondary scratches or a matt haze on the surface. This feature makes the product suitable for delicate items such as gold and silver, jewellery, decorative vessels, thin plating and plastic parts. After polishing, a thin layer of protective components remains on the surface, reducing direct contact of the metal with moisture and atmospheric oxygen and delaying the return of dullness and corrosion. The range of use of this product is not limited to metals; it can also be used on painted surfaces of household appliances, plastic parts such as car headlights, and resin structures to remove dullness and increase clarity.
Applications
- Polishing and burnishing of gold and silver articles and jewellery, copper and brass vessels and decorative objects, chrome and nickel taps and fittings, stainless steel appliances and surfaces
- Removing dullness from painted surfaces of household appliances, plastic parts, and resin structures and jewellery
Main features
1. Suitable for gold, silver, copper, brass, nickel, chrome and stainless steel, household taps, plastic, painted surfaces of household appliances and resin structures. 2. Removes oxide layers, blackening, dullness and mineral stains. 3. Restores shine and mirror-like reflection. 4. Creates a protective layer and delays the return of dullness and corrosion. 5. High efficiency and very low consumption per use.
Directions for use
Preparation: remove dust and coarse particles from the surface; grit or hard particles left on the surface during polishing will cause scratches. If there is heavy greasy contamination, first wash the surface and dry it completely. Before general application, test the product on a small, inconspicuous area.
Method of application:
- Place a very small amount of the cream on a soft cloth, a microfibre cloth or a clean sponge.
- Spread the product over the surface with even movements and gentle pressure. On parts with a linear grain, such as brushed stainless steel, move along the lines of the surface.
- Allow about 1 to 2 minutes for a thin matt film to form on the surface.
- Polish the surface with a soft, clean, dry cloth until the full shine appears.
- For heavy contamination or deep blackening, repeat the steps.
Additional notes: for parts with engraving, openwork or fine grooves, use a soft toothbrush to work the product into the grooves, then use a cloth to polish, and remove any residue from the joints completely. After finishing, if necessary, wipe the surface with a damp cloth and dry it; especially for vessels and utensils that come into contact with food, thorough washing with water and dishwashing liquid is mandatory. Using a large amount at each step does not give a better result and only makes removing the residue more difficult. To maintain the result, periodic repetition at intervals of a few months is recommended. Do not use on matt surfaces, matt paints, very thin plating and surface gold plating, gemstones and pearls set in jewellery, or lacquered surfaces. Before using on valuable or antique items, always test on an inconspicuous area.
