Introduction
Paste tile adhesive is a one-part, ready-to-use product. Unlike powder tile adhesives, which must be mixed with water before application, this product is supplied ready to use in its packaging. The most important practical advantage of this product is its high initial tack and slip resistance. The piece is fixed immediately after being placed on the surface and needs no temporary support, while for some time after installation it is still possible to adjust its position precisely. This combination of instant fixing and a long working time makes the product suitable for fixing wall tiles and for precise work. The main field of application of this product is smooth, low-absorption surfaces; surfaces such as old ceramic, painted surfaces, plaster, plasterboard, wood and MDF, on which cementitious adhesives do not usually perform well. This product is not designed for submerged surfaces such as pools, and for such applications suitable cementitious adhesives, such as the Ghaffari-brand pool tile adhesive, should be used.
