Threadlocker TL42

Introduction

Threadlocker TL42 is a medium-strength, non-permanent locking adhesive designed specifically for locking and sealing metal bolts, screws and threaded fittings with a diameter up to size M25 in the absence of air.

Directions for use

1. If the bolt and thread are contaminated, clean them.
2. Apply a suitable amount of adhesive to the bolt thread (not the whole bolt). For blind holes, also place a little adhesive inside the internal thread. There is no need to shake the bottle.
3. Tighten the joint to the appropriate torque.
4. Initial set is reached after about 20 to 30 minutes, functional strength within 1 to 3 hours, and final strength after 24 hours.
5. To disassemble joints, use a suitable hand tool. (To make the work easier, it is suggested to first apply a little heat to the cross-section concerned)

Storage and warnings

• Wear gloves and a mask when using.
• Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
• Use in a well-ventilated area.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• Store away from direct sunlight and heat sources, in a well-ventilated place.
