Anaerobic gasket maker – GM18

Introduction

The anaerobic gasket maker GM18 is an advanced polymer for the complete elimination of solid gaskets. This anaerobic adhesive cures through the mechanism of oxygen exclusion and contact with metal ions. Directions for use

1. If the surface is contaminated, clean it. (Degreasing solvents are recommended before application).
2. Apply a suitable amount of the product as a complete 360 degree ring on the surface. There is no need to shake the bottle.
3. Tighten the joint until the two surfaces are fully bonded and the appropriate torque is reached.
4. Initial set is reached after about 20 to 30 minutes, functional strength within 1 to 3 hours, and final strength after 24 hours.
5. To disassemble, heat the joint to about 250 degrees Celsius and open it with a suitable tool.
