Grouting powder

Grouting powder
Complete joint filling without shrinkage or cracking, water-repellent and resistant to moisture penetration - high adhesion to the edges of tile, ceramic, porcelain and stone.
Introduction
Grouting powder is a ready-mixed dry cement-based mortar which, after mixing with water, becomes a uniform, workable paste for filling the joints between tile, ceramic, porcelain and stone. The joint between tile pieces makes it possible to absorb stresses caused by thermal expansion and contraction, and prevents edges from colliding, chipping and bulging; an unfilled joint, however, creates a direct path for water to seep under the tile and gradually destroy the fine surface of the tile. Grouting blocks this path and turns the surface into a single continuous covering. The polymer additives in the formulation improve the product's performance in several respects, including increased adhesion to the edges of the pieces, reduced shrinkage and cracking, reduced permeability with a water-repellent surface effect, and improved flexibility of the joint against minor movements of the surface. In addition, the inhibiting compounds in the product limit the growth of mould, fungi and algae in damp environments such as toilets, bathrooms and kitchens.
